Elliott Baxter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Chamberlain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lowrey Duggan struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Elliott Baxter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruby. In the 12th match minute, Ruby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwardo Quinnell to maneuver through the defense. Barnabas Hayman might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Mills. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barnabas Hayman ran back to his position shaking his head. Dario Chamberlain took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elliott Baxter. Elliott Baxter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 24th minute Dario Chamberlain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliott Baxter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes, Brye Johnson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Convicts and the Ruby players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brye Johnson hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 28thth minute of the game Dario Chamberlain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Convicts's Elliott Baxter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Navin Magnay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dan Mills having to make a save. Barnabas Hayman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dan Mills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 33 minutes, Navin Magnay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Convicts's supporters crossed their fingers, but Navin Magnay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kevin Awage struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Elliott Baxter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ruby. Dario Chamberlain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Kevin Awage left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ruby fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Chamberlain in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elliott Baxter saved Convicts from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barnabas Hayman made a kick off. Convicts's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Lowrey Duggan scored to the left of an out of position Elliott Baxter, making the score, 0-3. In the 54th minute of the match, Kevin Awage got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elliott Baxter was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Convicts's Case Rhodes got a free kick in the 54th minute. With his leg Elliott Baxter managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Ruby's Dario Chamberlain fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ruby's Dario Chamberlain was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 62nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 65th match minute, Ruby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwardo Quinnell to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Kevin Awage left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ruby fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Convicts's zone, Dario Chamberlain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliott Baxter came out of the goal and Dario Chamberlain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Ruby's Lowrey Duggan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. After a rather tough play, Ruby's Brandes Jackson got a free kick in the 77th minute. Navin Magnay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Dan Mills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Convicts's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kevin Awage fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Kevin Awage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Chamberlain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Navin Magnay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Dan Mills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Convicts fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ruby were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
