Carl Huther was extremely unlucky when he, in the 6th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Carl Huther fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everett Gwin having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Kangaroo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Patrick Haeberle fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Beachton's Brennan Ward got a free kick in the 16th minute. Barnard Tearle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carl Huther might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Everett Gwin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carl Huther ran back to his position shaking his head. Everett Gwin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carl Huther in the 23rd minute. Carl Huther sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamese Cowdell hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Rob Mills struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Andy Meyers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kangaroo. If Patrick Haeberle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Patrick Haeberle made the kick off in the second half. Carl Huther might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Everett Gwin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carl Huther ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Patrick Haeberle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Everett Gwin was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. If Carl Huther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, Kangaroo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cregan Boots to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Huther in the 63rd minute of play forced Kangaroo's goalkeeper Everett Gwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brennan Ward charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brennan Ward the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th match minute, Beachton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brennan Ward to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Beachton's Patrick Haeberle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Everett Gwin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carl Huther fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everett Gwin having to interfere. Bleyd Glover lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 73 minutes into the game, one of Kangaroo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a long run with the ball, Handley Owens did a trick in the 76th minute in front of Kangaroo's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-0. An impressive performance by Beachton's Handley Owens! Carl Huther scored 2-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Everett Gwin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Beachton's Carl Huther got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Beachton players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
