Spectators: 8001 (Terracing: 6002, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Berke Sobezak started the match with the kick off. After 8 played minutes Wogarl got a freekick which was hit by Murdock Huff. 9 minutes into the game, Collingwood's Berkeley Nurthen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abbott Bowen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Berke Curtis came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Wogarl's Byrne Beverley. But to his dismay, Byrne Beverley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lawrance Addison charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lawrance Addison the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lawrance Addison hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Abbott Bowen was a little too slow when Berke Sobezak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-1. Abbott Bowen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berke Sobezak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lawrance Addison kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 2-2 became the score in the 30th minute when Paul Greenan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. During the 36th minute of the match Murdock Huff completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Murdock Huff a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 37 played minutes Wogarl got a freekick which was hit by Murdock Huff. Berkeley Nurthen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Abbott Bowen made a huge save. Paul Greenan charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul Greenan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The wind increased when Case Cudmore made the kick off in the second half. If Berkeley Nurthen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wogarl's Abbott Bowen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berke Sobezak in the 61st minute of play. Byrne Beverley's late challenge caught a Collingwood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Byrne Beverley helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Wogarl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Byrne Beverley to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rdth minute of the game Berke Sobezak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wogarl's Abbott Bowen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Berkeley Nurthen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Rodd Buckland suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Case Cudmore charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Berke Curtis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paul Greenan went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Andy Trims's late challenge caught a Collingwood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andy Trims helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wogarl's Andy Trims got a free kick in the 87th minute. Berkeley Nurthen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Abbott Bowen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Wogarl's zone, Berke Sobezak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abbott Bowen came out of the goal and Berke Sobezak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Collingwood manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Wogarl to win.
