Paul Greenan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Moon having to interfere. Byrne Beverley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Byrne Beverley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jess Kinnaird ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abbott Bowen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jason Moon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Greenan in the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Elliott Turnbull shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abbott Bowen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jess Kinnaird got free with Abbott Bowen in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jason Moon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Greenan in the 61st minute of the match. Abbott Bowen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliott Turnbull, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Jess Kinnairds short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Abbott Bowen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Wogarl's Abbott Bowen got control of the ball when Jess Kinnaird tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Byrne Beverley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Elliott Turnbull shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abbott Bowen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Latrobe's Jess Kinnaird sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abbott Bowen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Abbott Bowen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 84th play minutes Jess Kinnaird shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Abbott Bowen and just under the crossbar into goal. Abbott Bowen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elliott Turnbull's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Abbott Bowen made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Jess Kinnaird sent off a good shot on target. The Wogarl fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Latrobe were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
