Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dale Mewburn kicked off to start the match. Nichol Skurrie hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Mayfield's Dacosta Murphy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Mewburn in the 6th minute of play. Dale Mewburn might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dacosta Murphy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dale Mewburn ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dale Mewburn in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dacosta Murphy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dale Mewburn let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 16th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. The supporters of Mayfield booed when Kamikazes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobie Clinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dale Mewburn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacosta Murphy having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Mayfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brannan Serena to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 27 minutes, Tobie Clinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kamikazes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobie Clinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mayfield fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Dacosta Murphy, was totally fooled by Kamikazes's Jesse Maunsell, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience was convinced that Dale Mewburn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dacosta Murphy was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Mayfield's zone, Tobie Clinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dacosta Murphy came out of the goal and Tobie Clinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arne Flisfeder kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Potter Odonahoo made a kick off. Arne Flisfeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loud Chant having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Mewburn in the 60th minute of play forced Mayfield's goalkeeper Dacosta Murphy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Potter Odonahoo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kamikazes's Tobie Clinton got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Arne Flisfeder hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tobie Clinton during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kamikazes getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Tobie Clinton hit a great ball. With a little luck, Kamikazes's Loud Chant got control of the ball when Arne Flisfeder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dale Mewburn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dacosta Murphy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Mayfield:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kamikazes:s goal. Dacosta Murphy went to the wrong direction when Jesse Maunsell was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Dale Mewburn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kamikazes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dale Mewburn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carl Freeman hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Kamikazes defense, Arne Flisfeder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loud Chant. The Kamikazes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loud Chant should have stopped the shot. After 97 played minutes Kamikazes got a freekick which was hit by Tobie Clinton. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kamikazes had played much better football throughout.
