Aron Bowman scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Myles Thorne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Aron Bowman sped through Desarcas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Myles Thorne. Myles Thorne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Bowman in the 79th minute of play. Byron Richard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Myles Thorne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aron Bowman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Myles Thorne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aron Bowman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Myles Thorne was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 90th minute Byron Richard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Myles Thorne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Desarcas's Conner Crampton got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Amateurs walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
