Jason Rishton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Karl Schonke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jason Rishton was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The goalkeeper, Berny Stebbing, was totally fooled by Penguins FC's Drake Jury, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dakota Crane was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Dakota Crane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Penguins FC's Jason Rishton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Penguins FC from getting a goal against them. Karl Schonke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Jason Rishton made a huge save. The referee ignored Penguins FC's protests and gave Irving Hogan a yellow card for diving instead. Irving Hogan hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Byrne Muncaster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Rishton having to interfere.
