No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dakota Crane made the kick off in the second half. The nice shot from Roland Pears in the 54thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Edison Macumber had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobie Carragher in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jason Rishton saved Penguins FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Tobie Carragher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jason Rishton was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Jason Rishton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Woodhouselee fully deserved thier win.
