In the 13th match minute, Tayene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bart Devere to maneuver through the defense. Tayene's Best Renney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brayden Cudmore in the 15th minute of play. Carl Reichelt was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. When Koumala FC's Brayden Cudmore, in the 20th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Koumala FC. In the 21st minute, Jonathan Millar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmichael Hollis kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Brayden Cudmore cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Best Renney was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Koumala FC booed when Tayene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Best Renney was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tayene's Best Renney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jake Heathwood in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Koumala FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 85th minute, Koumala FC's Jarrett Alchin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. If Biddle Saisell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Koumala FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
