Spectators: 6841 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ray Fessa started the match with the kick off. Myles Thorne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bishop Arkinstall in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Spoiled Kid Sydney's Adolph Barling got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute, Case Arkinstall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Spoiled Kid Sydney's Bent Gledden was substituted for Case Arkinstall. In the 10th match minute, Spoiled Kid Sydney was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Case Arkinstall to maneuver through the defense. Bishop Arkinstall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Mcgaw kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ivan Mcgaw hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Spoiled Kid Sydney's Adolph Barling got a free kick in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Spoiled Kid Sydney's goalkeeper Ringo Chapman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sabastian Laughton. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bishop Arkinstall in the 38th minute of play forced Desarcas's goalkeeper Myles Thorne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bishop Arkinstall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Myles Thorne made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Bishop Arkinstall sent off a good shot on target. After 59 minutes, Bent Gledden mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spoiled Kid Sydney and the Desarcas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ringo Chapman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendan Swan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Bishop Arkinstall took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Myles Thorne to make any attempt to save it. In the 85th minute of the match Payton Boston sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ringo Chapman skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Spoiled Kid Sydney getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ivan Mcgaw hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Ray Fessa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ringo Chapman. Spoiled Kid Sydney's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ray Fessa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 93 minutes into the game, Spoiled Kid Sydney's Bishop Arkinstall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Myles Thorne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Spoiled Kid Sydney supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Spoiled Kid Sydney would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
