The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Earnest Byrnes during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Kiras Krusaders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Earnest Byrnes to maneuver through the defense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlisle Allcock to make the kick off. Kiras Krusaders's Earnest Byrnes got his second yellow card of the match in the 52nd minute. The referee ordered Earnest Byrnes off the ground. When Anthony Mills fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kiras Krusaders's protests and gave Anthony Mills a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kiras Krusaders getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Anthony Mills hit a great ball. Peter Trezise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradley Goodbun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute of the match, Berke Sugden got a very nice opportunity to score, but Peter Trezise was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 95 minutes into the game, Edmundson Sibbold was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kiras Krusaders's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grandchester FC the free kick. Edmundson Sibbold hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Kiras Krusaders succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Grandchester FC had controlled the match.
