Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cole Kuskoff started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brett Venz in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artie Butterworth saved Chute from getting behind. Ryan Limmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cole Kuskoff in the 5th minute of play. Dalwood Anderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ryan Limmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cole Kuskoff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ryan Limmer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Brett Venz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artie Butterworth was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Eddie Harding kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Artie Butterworth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brett Venz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubiton F.C's Ryan Limmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cole Kuskoff in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 played minutes Rubiton F.C got a freekick which was hit by Pete Dobson. After 36 minutes, Cole Paddle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chute and the Rubiton F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Cole Paddle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Rubiton F.C's goalkeeper Ryan Limmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalwood Anderson.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brett Venz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Dalwood Anderson notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Rubiton F.C's Ryan Limmer. Ryan Limmer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 58 minutes into the match, Rubiton F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Dalwood Anderson came free, but Ryan Limmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Lucas Bailey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Brett Venz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Dalwood Anderson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chute's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalwood Anderson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryan Limmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarrod Sparrow hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute Lucas Bailey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Limmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artie Butterworth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Roach in the 95th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 98 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Brett Venz sped through Chute's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Artie Butterworth.
