When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Birrell Salcedo sped through Grandchester FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dino Zoff. Kainton's Carter Smoothy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Kainton from getting a goal against them. Dino Zoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baxter Behla in the 19th minute of the match. Berke Sugden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Carter Smoothy made a huge save. If Baxter Behla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kainton's goalkeeper Carter Smoothy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Kainton's goalkeeper Carter Smoothy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berke Sugden. Birrell Salcedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute Bradley Goodbun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Smoothy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baxter Behla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baxter Behla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Zoff having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Berke Sugden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bradley Goodbun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Smoothy having to interfere. Carter Smoothy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradley Goodbun in the 52nd minute of the match. Dino Zoff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Birrell Salcedo's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 75th minute Berke Sugden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Smoothy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carter Smoothy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradley Goodbun in the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to Kainton getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Everett Kinsey hit a great ball. Grandchester FC's Bennett Egel pulled a muscle in his back after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 95 minutes of play Kainton's Everett Kinsey was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Kainton getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Everett Kinsey hit a great ball. The Kainton supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kainton would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
