A collision led to Kainton getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Hale Russell hit a great ball. Hale Russell kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Brett Venz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Carter Smoothy. Carter Smoothy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Roach, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Aden Mcinnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Carter Smoothy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Rubiton F.C booed when Kainton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hale Russell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Baxter Behla could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Ryan Limmer however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hale Russell got free with Ryan Limmer in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 43 played minutes Kainton got a freekick which was hit by Hale Russell. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brett Venz in the 44th minute of play forced Kainton's goalkeeper Carter Smoothy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryan Limmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baxter Behla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Birrell Salcedo was the one to do the kick off. Hale Russell kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ryan Limmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birrell Salcedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hale Russell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ryan Limmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baxter Behla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Kainton's Carter Smoothy got control of the ball when Brett Venz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brett Venz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Smoothy having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Kainton got a freekick which was hit by Everett Kinsey. Carter Smoothy made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Brett Venz sent off a good shot on target. Rubiton F.C's Jarrod Sparrow pulled a muscle in his leg after 71 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Everett Kinsey fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kainton's protests and gave Everett Kinsey a yellow card for diving instead. Rubiton F.C made a substitution. Burt Reiter replaced Jarrod Sparrow. A collision led to Kainton getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Everett Kinsey hit a great ball. In the 77th minute Burt Reiter suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Hale Russell hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes Kainton got a freekick which was hit by Adolph Gorham. After having played for 91 minutes, Brett Venz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rubiton F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brett Venz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Birrell Salcedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Kainton fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rubiton F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
