Nicholas Benson in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gregg Gilding, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Darin Tout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bremen Muncaster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Payton Kiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. fc sturt's supporters rose to their feet, but Payton Kiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bremen Muncaster breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oliver Bridson kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Remington Pegrum kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Remington Pegrum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Ogilvie defense, Payton Kiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bremen Muncaster. The Ogilvie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bremen Muncaster should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Larkin Mcmurchie to make the kick off. Remington Pegrum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as fc sturt's Darin Tout slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bremen Muncaster. That made the score 0-3 after 55 minutes of play. In the 60th minute Roger Andrews shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bremen Muncaster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Payton Kiel came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the fc sturt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Payton Kiel couldn't finish the play. Roger Andrews was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 72 minutes into the game, Roland Vickery was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 91st minute, Payton Kiel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded fc sturt left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ogilvie.
