To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Randle Whittington was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Benny Dillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blade Cave charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blade Cave the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Blade Cave kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Herbert Dillon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thomas Berresford. Bronco Utd Buddies's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ellis Bonham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Edgecombe defense, Jones Ambrose kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Keam. The Edgecombe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Keam should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Edgecombe booed when Bronco Utd Buddies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Mcmillan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Benny Dillon made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Benny Dillon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcus Keam. The goal made the score 0-2. Rusty Mcjenkins's late challenge caught a Bronco Utd Buddies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rusty Mcjenkins helped the player get up and apologised. Rusty Mcjenkins kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Marcus Keam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jones Ambrose in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benny Dillon in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Keam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ellis Bonham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Berresford having to interfere. Edgecombe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Benny Dillon scored to the left of an out of position Marcus Keam, making the score, 0-3. Marcus Keam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benny Dillon, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Thomas Berresford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ellis Bonham, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
