Spectators: 7966 (Terracing: 5976, Seating: 1832, VIP seats: 158) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brand Crane kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Timberwolves's goalkeeper Roland Beale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 6th minute, Brand Crane made a precise shot to the right of Roland Beale. Timberwolves's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Irving Kanack charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Irving Kanack the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pymble Leopards FC's Irving Kanack got a free kick in the 13th minute. Dugald Rhodes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Orourke in the 19th minute. Bart Clark struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Roland Beale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pymble Leopards FC. Roland Beale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brand Crane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timberwolves's Roland Beale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brand Crane in the 27th minute of play. The Pymble Leopards FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Pymble Leopards FC's Brand Crane looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dugald Rhodes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaffery Bower in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Jaffery Bower shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dugald Rhodes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pymble Leopards FC's zone, Ian Orourke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dugald Rhodes came out of the goal and Ian Orourke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Larkins Bonnison's late challenge caught a Pymble Leopards FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Larkins Bonnison helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes Timberwolves got a freekick which was hit by Larkins Bonnison. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Bart Clark managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pymble Leopards FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bart Clark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Beale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaffery Bower was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd of the match, Brand Crane tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Roland Beale got in the way and made a wonderful save. After a rather tough play, Pymble Leopards FC's Payton Mudie got a free kick in the 57th minute. Ian Orourke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Orourke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dugald Rhodes having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Jaffery Bower managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timberwolves's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaffery Bower was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Ian Orourke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dugald Rhodes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Larkins Bonnison blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dugald Rhodes having to make a save. Ian Orourke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dugald Rhodes having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Brand Crane took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Roland Beale to make any attempt to save it. Chants of Pymble Leopards FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Timberwolves had held the ball for most of the match.
