Spectators: 8071 (Terracing: 6055, Seating: 1856, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Handley Fieldhouse started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Handley Fieldhouse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darryl Phillips saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute, Tugun Jets FC's Burns Claringbold dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Tugun Jets FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jones Bailey came free, but Darryl Phillips reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jones Bailey took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darryl Phillips. Darryl Phillips dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rory William received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Fabian Block tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Boynedale's Fabian Block got control of the ball when Burns Claringbold tried to sneak it across the goal line. Darryl Phillips came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Boynedale's Fleming Gracey. But to his dismay, Fleming Gracey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Darryl Phillips showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Handley Fieldhouse in the 22nd minute of the match. Burns Claringbold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Block having to interfere. Jacobs Paddle charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacobs Paddle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacobs Paddle kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Boynedale got a freekick which was hit by Biddle Johnson. 29 minutes into the match, Handley Fieldhouse notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Tugun Jets FC's Darryl Phillips. Darryl Phillips was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Darryl Phillips took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jones Bailey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Fleming Gracey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Darryl Phillips was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 39 minutes into the match, Tugun Jets FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fleming Gracey came free, but Darryl Phillips reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Burns Claringbold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fabian Block tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Boynedale got a freekick which was hit by Fleming Gracey. Handley Fieldhouse hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rory William stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Tugun Jets FC's Darryl Phillips got control of the ball when Handley Fieldhouse tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Boynedale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjy Peplow to maneuver through the defense. If Jacobs Paddle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Darryl Phillips showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fleming Gracey in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Larry Mcquoid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darryl Phillips showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jones Bailey, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Fabian Block showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rory William in the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Boynedale booed when Tugun Jets FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burns Claringbold didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Handley Fieldhouse in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darryl Phillips saved Tugun Jets FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Boynedale's zone, Jacobs Paddle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Block came out of the goal and Jacobs Paddle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjy Peplow could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Darryl Phillips made a huge save. Rory William hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. A collision led to Tugun Jets FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jacobs Paddle hit a great ball. Boynedale's Fabian Block played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rory William in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Fleming Gracey reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Darryl Phillips. The goal made the score 1-6. The Boynedale players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
