To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dakota Missen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Green Sheep! The referee gave Portagabra a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Raleigh Rear, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Green Sheep's Russ Ogle. 1-1. Nilson Richard might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Russ Ogle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nilson Richard ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Corder Barclay to strike the kick off in the second half. Carter Kuskoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corder Barclay in the 51st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corder Barclay in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carter Kuskoff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Corder Barclay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Kuskoff having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Potter Laing in the 59th minute of play forced Portagabra's goalkeeper Carter Kuskoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carter Kuskoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ace Byrnes in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Portagabra's Dakota Missen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Russ Ogle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Corder Barclay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Carter Kuskoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ace Byrnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Russ Ogle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilson Richard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ace Byrnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Kuskoff having to interfere. The Portagabra players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Green Sheep from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
