Spectators: 8132 (Terracing: 6100, Seating: 1871, VIP seats: 161) Corella's Eden Forrest started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match, Eden Forrest got a very nice opportunity to score, but Philip Waller was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 7 minutes into the match, Corella's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolph Sedgman came free, but Brannan Stevens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute of the match, Eden Forrest got a very nice opportunity to score, but Philip Waller was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 11thth minute of the game Brent Moran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reds's Philip Waller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute Eden Forrest shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Waller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brent Moran struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Philip Waller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corella. Brannan Stevens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Hamilton in the 19th minute of play. Eden Forrest in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Philip Waller, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eden Forrest's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Philip Waller firmly grabbed it by the left post. Eden Forrest who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Philip Waller when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Eden Forrest got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Reds's Britton Moorby got a free kick in the 46th minute. Eden Forrest recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rudolph Sedgman made a kick off. Brannan Stevens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolph Sedgman in the 55th minute of play. Eden Forrest took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Philip Waller. Philip Waller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Brannan Stevens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolph Sedgman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Eden Forrest shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Waller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Corella fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Corella's Eden Forrest looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Philip Waller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eden Forrest in the 76th minute of play. Philip Waller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brent Moran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd match minute, Reds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dani Mudie to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Corella getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Neale Pound hit a great ball. Neale Pound fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Waller having to interfere. Reds's Philip Waller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eden Forrest in the 89th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Eden Forrest ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Philip Waller was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1.
