Eddie Schulze's late challenge caught a Green Sheep's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Muntham's Burtt Telfer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Muntham from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Green Sheep booed when Muntham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Connor Moon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corder Barclay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burtt Telfer having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Corder Barclay to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Corder Barclay in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Burtt Telfer saved Muntham from getting behind. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Muntham! In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Green Sheep. Baxter Todman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Burtt Telfer. 1-0. Corder Barclay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Green Sheep's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
