Spectators: 7985 (Terracing: 6111, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Myles Death got the match started through his kick off. Amos Keam in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Angus Mcjunkins, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 4th match minute, Ermington FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darryl Brotherton to maneuver through the defense. After 9 played minutes BVB09 got a freekick which was hit by Jarrod Howie. After 11 minutes of play, Ermington FC's Corbett Paynter made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henry Matthes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Ermington FC's Barnett Rann got a free kick in the 16th minute. Henry Matthes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Odd in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, David Odd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Henry Matthes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Odd in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Matthes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patrick Osbiston charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Osbiston the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Angus Mcjunkins was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Myles Death capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Myles Death really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 30 minutes into the match, Ermington FC's goalkeeper Angus Mcjunkins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amos Keam. Amos Keam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Angus Mcjunkins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olin Stockwin hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Rex Fallen charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rex Fallen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Rex Fallen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, BVB09's Myles Death dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Henry Matthes was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Corbett Paynter capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Corbett Paynter really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. If Myles Death had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 played minutes Ermington FC got a freekick which was hit by Biggs Obrien. In the 59th minute of the match Myles Death sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angus Mcjunkins skillfully saved the ball. In the 63rd minute Jarrod Howie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angus Mcjunkins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amos Keam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Angus Mcjunkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amos Keam in the 66th minute of play. Jarrod Howie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angus Mcjunkins having to interfere. If Corbett Paynter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Odd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henry Matthes having to make a save. 74 minutes into the match, BVB09's Patrick Osbiston sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angus Mcjunkins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angus Mcjunkins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amos Keam in the 77th minute of play. If Patrick Osbiston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angus Mcjunkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Keam in the 81st minute of the match. Gregg Willis kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Edgar Smalley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Odd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, BVB09's goalkeeper Henry Matthes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Odd. After some careless play in the Ermington FC defense, Myles Death kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angus Mcjunkins. The Ermington FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angus Mcjunkins should have stopped the shot. The Ermington FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented BVB09 from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
