Spectators: 6843 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rufus Everett took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Minnivale's Kent Curtis got control of the ball when Andre Moon tried to sneak it across the goal line. John Eicke took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kent Curtis. Minnivale's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Andre Moon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kent Curtis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Andre Moon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Kent Curtis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Blade Rhodes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Larkin Mcjunkin having to interfere. Minnivale's Kent Curtis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Minnivale from getting a goal against them. Matthews Macumber hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Blade Rhodes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minnivale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blade Rhodes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufus Everett in the 36th minute of play forced Melton's goalkeeper Larkin Mcjunkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blade Rhodes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Minnivale's zone, Cassidy Curtis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kent Curtis came out of the goal and Cassidy Curtis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassidy Curtis was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Minnivale's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Moon came free, but Kent Curtis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Andre Moon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kent Curtis was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 55th minute, Mark Shortus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andre Moon in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kent Curtis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melton's Larkin Mcjunkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rufus Everett in the 60th minute of play. Kent Curtis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassidy Curtis, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute Cassidy Curtis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Curtis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Murphy Heys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kent Curtis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassidy Curtis in the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Melton's Andre Moon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kent Curtis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 71 played minutes Minnivale got a freekick which was hit by Matthews Macumber. Kent Curtis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre Moon in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match, Blade Rhodes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Larkin Mcjunkin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Rufus Everett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Larkin Mcjunkin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blade Rhodes in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Moon in the 80th minute of play forced Minnivale's goalkeeper Kent Curtis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cassidy Curtis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Larkin Mcjunkin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Cassidy Curtis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melton's supporters rose to their feet, but Cassidy Curtis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kent Curtis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
