After having played for 3 minutes, Brendon Batterham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Coast Slammers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brendon Batterham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brendon Batterham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Jerico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Navarro Barker, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Brendon Batterham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Jerico having to interfere. In the 21st minute Brendon Batterham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Jerico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brendon Batterham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. West Coast Slammers's Braedan Sylvester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alford Yard in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match Carman Gray shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Jerico showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, PEPE United's Bishop Allan got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Navarro Barker in the 30th minute of play forced PEPE United's goalkeeper Filomeno Jerico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quincy Dobson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Braedan Sylvester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendon Batterham in the 43rd minute of play forced PEPE United's goalkeeper Filomeno Jerico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Brendon Batterham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alford Yard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55th play minutes Alford Yard shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Braedan Sylvester and just under the crossbar into goal. Braedan Sylvester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alford Yard in the 59th minute of play. Braedan Sylvester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alford Yard, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Alford Yard got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Braedan Sylvester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PEPE United. When Alford Yard came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the PEPE United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alford Yard couldn't finish the play. Navarro Barker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, PEPE United's Filomeno Jerico got control of the ball when Navarro Barker tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th match minute, PEPE United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phillip Dorrell to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of West Coast Slammers booed when PEPE United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phillip Dorrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. When PEPE United's Alford Yard in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye West Coast Slammers's goalie prevented a goal.
