In the 11thth minute of the game Andre Moon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Backyard Football's Cod Mapps was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 minutes, Brock Hanlen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Backyard Football and the Melton players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brock Hanlen kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Andre Moon took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cod Mapps. Cod Mapps dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cassidy Curtis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cassidy Curtis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brock Hanlen was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Melton booed when Backyard Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brock Hanlen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cod Mapps didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cassidy Curtis went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Cassidy Curtis came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Melton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cassidy Curtis couldn't finish the play.

With a little luck, Backyard Football's Cod Mapps got control of the ball when Andre Moon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cod Mapps didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cassidy Curtis went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the last second Cod Mapps throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cassidy Curtis in the 93rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post.
