Spectators: 8019 (Terracing: 6016, Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alford Yard started the match with the kick off. In the 11th minute, Rusty Ridding hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alford Yard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bradley Starling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Backyard Football's Cod Mapps got control of the ball when Alford Yard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rusty Ridding kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Cod Mapps went to the wrong direction when Alford Yard was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Alford Yard's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Cod Mapps skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alford Yard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Cod Mapps when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 46 played minutes PEPE United got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Miels. It was beautiful to see Backyard Football's Ed Garing in action when he in the 48th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bradley Starling to make the kick off. Filomeno Jerico acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rusty Ridding. Phillip Dorrell kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, PEPE United's Alford Yard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cod Mapps narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Bradley Starling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Dugald Coburn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When PEPE United's Alford Yard in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Backyard Football's goalie prevented a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Rusty Ridding in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PEPE United's Bishop Allan. Quincy Dobson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Cod Mapps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Backyard Football got a freekick which was hit by Rusty Ridding. In the 86th minute of the match Quincy Dobson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cod Mapps showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Alford Yard notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Backyard Football's Cod Mapps. Cod Mapps was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of PEPE United booed when Backyard Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rusty Ridding didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cod Mapps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quincy Dobson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Backyard Football getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Quade Worrall hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. PEPE United fully deserved thier win.
