Spectators: 7887 (Terracing: 6036, Seating: 1851, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bradley Starling got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Bradley Starling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Patrick Osbiston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match Amos Keam climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Cod Mapps. With an all-out effort, BVB09's Cod Mapps threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Myles Death, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 10 minutes into the game, Amos Keam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cod Mapps was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patrick Osbiston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Myles Death in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cod Mapps prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute Dugald Coburn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Matthes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, BVB09's Myles Death ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cod Mapps. Cod Mapps yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Cod Mapps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Myles Death, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Backyard Football's zone, Patrick Osbiston stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cod Mapps came out of the goal and Patrick Osbiston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 48 minutes of play, BVB09's Patrick Osbiston made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cod Mapps was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-1.

Cod Mapps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Myles Death in the 54th minute of play. Amos Keam struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Cod Mapps didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BVB09. Cod Mapps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bock Hart in the 58th minute of the match. Bradley Starling struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Henry Matthes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Backyard Football. A collision led to BVB09 getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Patrick Osbiston hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarrod Howie in the 64th minute of play forced Backyard Football's goalkeeper Cod Mapps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Osbiston might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cod Mapps. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrick Osbiston ran back to his position shaking his head. Brock Hanlen hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Jarrod Howie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cod Mapps stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amos Keam's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Backyard Football's Cod Mapps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amos Keam in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Backyard Football's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Keam came free, but Cod Mapps reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, BVB09's Myles Death sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cod Mapps narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Myles Death got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cod Mapps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amos Keam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olin Stockwin during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, BVB09's Olin Stockwin got a free kick in the 86th minute. Cod Mapps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Myles Death, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Patrick Osbiston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cod Mapps having to interfere. Patrick Osbiston recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that BVB09 were the better team. BVB09's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
