Spectators: 7962 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 120) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brye Legg kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, FC Heidenheim's Herman Willding got a free kick in the 6th minute. 14 minutes into the match, FC Heidenheim's goal looked a bit too open when Russel Ramsay came free, but Braedan Argoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Russel Ramsay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Browne Mogork hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Russel Ramsay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Braedan Argoud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Roger Freeman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dugald Boothey hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Arnold Mcjenkins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Quinn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With his leg Braedan Argoud managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Cuthbert's Roger Freeman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FC Heidenheim's Brye Legg got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Arnold Mcjenkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brye Legg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dario Quinn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Russel Ramsay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aron Rowden charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aron Rowden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aron Rowden hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. FC Heidenheim were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Cuthbert's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Berkeley Blattman took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Berkeley Blattman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dario Quinn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 59th match minute, FC Heidenheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Willding to maneuver through the defense. Arnold Mcjenkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Quinn having to interfere. If Art Gaffigan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Freeman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Brye Legg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 96 played minutes Cuthbert got a freekick which was hit by Aron Rowden. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Heidenheim had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
