Edmund Gavin might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tom Grieve. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmund Gavin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 57thth minute of the game Avdon Shenderovich who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perth Glory's Tom Grieve was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Edmund Gavin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Avdon Shenderovich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ravens's supporters rose to their feet, but Avdon Shenderovich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tom Grieve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Perth Glory defense, Edmund Gavin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tom Grieve. The Perth Glory fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tom Grieve should have stopped the shot. Edmund Gavin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Tom Grieve when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Perth Glory fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ravens were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
