Meyer Orvad started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in MooPee United's zone, Hank Bromfield stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Larry Coburn came out of the goal and Hank Bromfield tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Meyer Orvad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rod Goodbun having to interfere. After 15 minutes, Burns Pound mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haddon and the MooPee United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Haddon getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Burns Pound hit a great ball. MooPee United's Angus Hardiman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rod Goodbun but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in MooPee United's zone, Kane Bailey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Larry Coburn came out of the goal and Kane Bailey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hank Bromfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kane Bailey in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Larry Coburn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kane Bailey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Larry Coburn having to interfere. Rod Goodbun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Meyer Orvad's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Larry Coburn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kane Bailey, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, MooPee United's Barnes Wang got a free kick in the 38th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Bryden Lambourne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haddon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryden Lambourne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kane Bailey in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Larry Coburn saved MooPee United from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kane Bailey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MooPee United's Larry Coburn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save MooPee United from getting a goal against them. Kane Bailey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Larry Coburn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Nash Maciver was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haddon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MooPee United the free kick. The supporters of MooPee United booed when Haddon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nash Maciver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hank Bromfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, Haddon's Hank Bromfield nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Larry Coburn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hank Bromfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Larry Coburn having to interfere. The supporters of MooPee United booed when Haddon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kane Bailey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hank Bromfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Larry Coburn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kane Bailey in the 84th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes MooPee United got a freekick which was hit by Bryanne Cassilly. 86 minutes into the match, Haddon's Bryden Lambourne broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 90 minutes into the match, MooPee United's goal looked a bit too open when Kane Bailey came free, but Larry Coburn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haddon's Hank Bromfield got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
