A wasted opportunity for Ravens. 9 minutes into the match, Ravens's Edmund Gavin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sam Kinnaird narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edmund Gavin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sam Kinnaird tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Westside Cogs's Sam Kinnaird played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Craig Schulze in the 15th minute of play. Sam Kinnaird stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmund Gavin's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Edmund Gavin might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sam Kinnaird. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmund Gavin ran back to his position shaking his head. After 26th play minutes Edmund Gavin shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Sam Kinnaird and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Duke Kennewell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ravens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duke Kennewell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sam Kinnaird made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Gavin in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Ravens's goalkeeper Jarrod Addison had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arneil Tupman. After 37 minutes, Edmund Gavin made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Westside Cogs's Sam Kinnaird tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Westside Cogs's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Allen came free, but Sam Kinnaird reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Ravens were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brayden Nolan to make the kick off. Davey Fordham's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sam Kinnaird read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Boyd Gannan's late challenge caught a Ravens's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boyd Gannan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute of the match, Duke Kennewell tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sam Kinnaird saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 55 minutes into the match, Westside Cogs's goalkeeper Sam Kinnaird had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmund Gavin. Edmund Gavin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Sam Kinnaird when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Duffield Fortington charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duffield Fortington the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 58 played minutes Westside Cogs got a freekick which was hit by Duffield Fortington. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Edmund Gavin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ravens's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmund Gavin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sam Kinnaird breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duke Kennewell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Kinnaird having to interfere. If Edmund Gavin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sam Kinnaird made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Edmund Gavin sent off a good shot on target. Edmund Gavin struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. The supporters of Westside Cogs booed when Ravens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bickford Miller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phenix Mckinnes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sam Kinnaird having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ravens's Edmund Gavin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sam Kinnaird. That made the score 0-6 after 88 minutes of play. 91 minutes into the match, Ravens's goal looked a bit too open when Brayden Nolan came free, but Jarrod Addison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avdon Shenderovich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Edmund Gavin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ravens's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
