Russel Ramsay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Larry Coburn having to make a save. In the 30th minute, Russel Ramsay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Larry Coburn came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cuthbert's Russel Ramsay. But to his dismay, Russel Ramsay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Matthew Petty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dario Quinn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milton Grandison hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Russel Ramsay to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Matthew Petty managed to get in a good position for a shot. MooPee United's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthew Petty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Quinn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matthew Petty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Quinn having to interfere. MooPee United's Larry Coburn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Russel Ramsay in the 72nd minute of play. Russel Ramsay scored 0-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Larry Coburn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Russel Ramsay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bran Stevenson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthew Petty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dario Quinn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marshal Digiuseppe charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marshal Digiuseppe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marshal Digiuseppe kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Cuthbert's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
