Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kane Bailey kicked off to start the match. Kane Bailey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes Perth Glory got a freekick which was hit by Berne Mcmahon. Perth Glory's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Hank Bromfield scored to the left of an out of position Tom Grieve, making the score, 1-0. Nash Maciver charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nash Maciver the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nash Maciver kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Perth Glory fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Tom Grieve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kane Bailey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, Haddon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brock Cawthorne to maneuver through the defense. After 35 played minutes Haddon got a freekick which was hit by Bryden Lambourne. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Handley Paddle during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hank Bromfield could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Tom Grieve made a huge save. If Hank Bromfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hank Bromfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiger Conlan made a kick off. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Haddon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Murphy Paynter was slow to take the kick. During this time Perth Glory's players had a chance to rest. 60 minutes into the match, Haddon's Hank Bromfield sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tom Grieve narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute of the match Handley Paddle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tom Grieve skillfully saved the ball. Berne Mcmahon hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Hank Bromfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tom Grieve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hank Bromfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hank Bromfield scored 3-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tom Grieve, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute Kane Bailey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Grieve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Haddon's Brock Cawthorne got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, a hard, long distance shot from Murphy Paynter hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Haddon's goal looked a bit too open when Tiger Conlan came free, but Rod Goodbun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Haddon had won after a very even match.
