Spectators: 8066 (Terracing: 6051, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mevlüt Rüstem kicked off to start the match. Mevlüt Rüstem might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonty Freel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mevlüt Rüstem ran back to his position shaking his head. The long shot by Biggs Devine in the 7th minute really tested Jonty Freel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mevlüt Rüstems short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Jonty Freel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mevlüt Rüstem's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Jonty Freel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mevlüt Rüstem sped through C. Zvezda's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonty Freel. A collision led to Burakin getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Rudolph Hines hit a great ball. Burt Bleazard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everett Potter in the 18th minute of play. Burakin's Burt Bleazard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martyon Nobes in the 19th minute of play. After 25 minutes, Biggs Devine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burakin and the C. Zvezda players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edwardo Christina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Burt Bleazard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mevlüt Rüstem in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonty Freel saved C. Zvezda from getting behind. 31 minutes into the game, Burtt Watman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. Zvezda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burakin the free kick. Burtt Watman kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Rudolph Hines struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Jonty Freel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burakin. Mevlüt Rüstems short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Jonty Freel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Humphry Baptiste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonty Freel having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martyon Nobes was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Mevlüt Rüstem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burakin's supporters rose to their feet, but Mevlüt Rüstem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonty Freel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the game, Rudolph Hines cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonty Freel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Darley Simpson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mevlüt Rüstem in the 61st minute of play forced C. Zvezda's goalkeeper Jonty Freel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of C. Zvezda booed when Burakin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abe Magnay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humphry Baptiste charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humphry Baptiste the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of C. Zvezda booed when Burakin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humphry Baptiste didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, C. Zvezda's Burt Bleazard threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Martyon Nobes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 74 minutes into the match, Burakin's Mevlüt Rüstem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonty Freel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Mevlüt Rüstem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonty Freel was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Burakin's Rudolph Hines got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Burakin made a substitution. Zvezda's goal looked a bit too open when Mevlüt Rüstem came free, but Jonty Freel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humphry Baptiste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonty Freel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute Humphry Baptiste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonty Freel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Burakin's goalkeeper Burt Bleazard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edwardo Christina. Rudolph Hines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonty Freel having to interfere.
