St Georges Basin United's Bernie Gilding proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save St Georges Basin United from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eavan Odonahoo in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernie Gilding prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 34 played minutes St Georges Basin United got a freekick which was hit by Ian Sparks. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eavan Odonahoo in the 40th minute of play forced St Georges Basin United's goalkeeper Bernie Gilding to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
