Brayden Reilly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Bernie Gilding tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernie Gilding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brayden Reilly, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Nash Mueller came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the St Georges Basin United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nash Mueller couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagan Stageman in the 22nd minute of play forced Kentville's goalkeeper Ned Stevens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Nash Mueller managed to get in a good position for a shot. St Georges Basin United's supporters rose to their feet, but Nash Mueller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ned Stevens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Dagan Stageman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagan Stageman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dagan Stageman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ned Stevens having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Kentville got a freekick which was hit by Darryl Bailey. St Georges Basin United were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Kentville's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dakota Lord took the corner. After 38 played minutes Kentville got a freekick which was hit by Darryl Bailey. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Kentville's Brock Morey in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye St Georges Basin United's goalie prevented a goal. Kentville's Ned Stevens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nash Mueller in the 56th minute of play. Dagan Stageman might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ned Stevens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dagan Stageman ran back to his position shaking his head. Dagan Stageman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Brock Morey reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernie Gilding. The goal made the score 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brayden Reilly in the 71st minute of play forced St Georges Basin United's goalkeeper Bernie Gilding to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berke Mcinnes kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Dagan Stageman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dagan Stageman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 98 minutes into the match, Kentville's Brock Morey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernie Gilding narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kentville had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
