Spectators: 8125 (Terracing: 6095, Seating: 1869, VIP seats: 161) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Best Harkness started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Mevlüt Rüstem fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With his leg Brye Wenham managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Burakin's Mevlüt Rüstem fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Murphey Beins hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Burakin's Burt Bleazard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Best Harkness in the 15th minute of play. When Myrtou FC's Best Harkness in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Burakin's goalie prevented a goal. Mevlüt Rüstem's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Brye Wenham skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Brye Wenham acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Biggs Devine. When Mevlüt Rüstem came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Burakin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mevlüt Rüstem couldn't finish the play. Humphry Baptiste struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Brye Wenham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burakin. Brye Wenham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mevlüt Rüstem in the 29th minute. Burakin's Burt Bleazard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Buchanan Rennie in the 30th minute of play. When Buchanan Rennie fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Myrtou FC's protests and gave Buchanan Rennie a yellow card for diving instead. Buchanan Rennie hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Mevlüt Rüstem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abe Magnay kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Myrtou FC's Hank Toth got a free kick in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Mevlüt Rüstem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burakin's supporters rose to their feet, but Mevlüt Rüstem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brye Wenham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mevlüt Rüstem was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Mevlüt Rüstem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Burakin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Mevlüt Rüstem struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Brye Wenham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burakin. Rudolph Hines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brye Wenham having to interfere. If Best Harkness had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abe Magnay's late challenge caught a Myrtou FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abe Magnay helped the player get up and apologised. Abe Magnay hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Buchanan Rennie kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Myrtou FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Hank Toth hit a great ball. Brye Wenham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mevlüt Rüstem's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. If Darley Simpson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Best Harkness shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burt Bleazard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88thth minute of the game Mevlüt Rüstem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Myrtou FC's Brye Wenham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Burakin made a substitution. Jason Dollimore replaced Bock Mcwilliam. Burakin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
