Mevlüt Rüstem started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Burakin's Abe Magnay got a free kick in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Brooks Hardiman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burt Bleazard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Burt Bleazard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keefe Pinhey in the 7th minute of play. Abe Magnay hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Burt Bleazard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elliot Walkington went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Elliot Walkington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Burt Bleazard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mevlüt Rüstem might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobs Aylwin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mevlüt Rüstem ran back to his position shaking his head. Burakin's Mevlüt Rüstem got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the game, Burakin's Mevlüt Rüstem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobs Aylwin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mevlüt Rüstem in the 32nd minute of play forced Casa do Benfica em Sydney's goalkeeper Jacobs Aylwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobs Aylwin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mevlüt Rüstem's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Casa do Benfica em Sydney's goal looked a bit too open when Mevlüt Rüstem came free, but Jacobs Aylwin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobs Aylwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humphry Baptiste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Elliot Walkington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mevlüt Rüstem struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jacobs Aylwin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burakin. When Humphry Baptiste came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Burakin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humphry Baptiste couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Burt Bleazard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brooks Hardiman, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mevlüt Rüstem in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobs Aylwin saved Casa do Benfica em Sydney from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Keefe Pinhey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casa do Benfica em Sydney's Jacobs Aylwin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Casa do Benfica em Sydney from getting a goal against them. Jacobs Aylwin was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Rudolph Hines capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rudolph Hines really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. When Mevlüt Rüstem came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Burakin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mevlüt Rüstem couldn't finish the play. Darley Simpson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 81 in the game by Mevlüt Rüstem from a close distance when the talented Jacobs Aylwin managed to make a qualified save. Casa do Benfica em Sydney's players were relieved. 82 minutes into the game, Keefe Pinhey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casa do Benfica em Sydney's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burakin the free kick. Keefe Pinhey kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Burakin made a substitution. Alberto Knaack replaced Biggs Devine. Burakin's Jason Dollimore was substituted for Bock Mcwilliam. Keefe Pinhey hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Jacobs Aylwin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alberto Knaack. Burakin's Burt Bleazard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Turnbull in the 92nd minute of play. Darley Simpson kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Jacobs Aylwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mevlüt Rüstem in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Burakin left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Casa do Benfica em Sydney.
