Burakin's Burt Bleazard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Crawford Baxter in the 9th minute of play. Mevlüt Rüstem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mevlüt Rüstems short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Carlton Wilde to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Rudolph Hines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Crawford Baxter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Burt Bleazard. Burakin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Crawford Baxter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Burakin's Abe Magnay got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mevlüt Rüstem had several of the Unhinged TokerZ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Carlton Wilde as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Unhinged TokerZ's Gregory Mckinley got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Humphry Baptiste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burakin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humphry Baptiste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 46 in the game by Mevlüt Rüstem from a close distance when the talented Carlton Wilde managed to make a qualified save. Unhinged TokerZ's players were relieved.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mevlüt Rüstem to make the kick off.
