After a rather tough play, Kalkee's Sam Limmer got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Sam Limmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Max Hilton charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Max Hilton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Nash Mueller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Everett Wege was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 29 played minutes St Georges Basin United got a freekick which was hit by Bradshaw Heys. After 29 played minutes Kalkee got a freekick which was hit by Jeffray Hess. Bernie Gilding stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacobs Barker's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute of the match Damon Blackham sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernie Gilding skillfully saved the ball. Jacobs Barker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernie Gilding having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Jacobs Barker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jacobs Barker made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes St Georges Basin United got a freekick which was hit by Ian Sparks. 54 minutes into the match, St Georges Basin United's goalkeeper Bernie Gilding had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacobs Barker. Bernie Gilding came out of the goal and Jacobs Barker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Kalkee booed when St Georges Basin United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cregan Adamson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeffray Hess's late challenge caught a St Georges Basin United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeffray Hess helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Jeffray Hess hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobs Barker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Bernie Gilding made a huge save. Jacobs Barker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Bryant Ziliotto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kalkee's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryant Ziliotto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernie Gilding breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind St Georges Basin United's goalkeeper Bernie Gilding, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobs Barker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Bernie Gilding tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
