In the 18th minute, Howard Baptiste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carman Walsh couldn't finish the play. The Keysie Knights fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Kinnaird should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carman Walsh got free with Daniel Kinnaird in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marshall Greenan was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Brombin had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
