The audience thought a goal was coming when Darryl Rhoades got free with Gregory Conlin in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Andre Tarrant had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gregory Conlin. Homewood's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andre Tarrant was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Darryl Rhoades who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Gregory Conlin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Bishop Tevelien ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregory Conlin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andre Tarrant in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregory Conlin saved Homewood from getting behind. In the 34thth minute of the game Darryl Rhoades who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Homewood's Gregory Conlin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bishop Tevelien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Gregory Conlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Liverpool FC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Liverpool FC's Darryl Rhoades looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jamie Warren to make the kick off. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Homewood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Britton Baptiste didn't get a good kick on the ball. Liverpool FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darryl Rhoades was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Homewood! Homewood:s Gregory Conlin showed great skill when he stopped Byrne Wirth:s penalty. Andre Tarrant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Conlin having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Jamie Warren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stew Whitsitt, 4-1. Bremen Prior hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Liverpool FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
