Barnes Claringbold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fletcher Keato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barnes Claringbold made an important save on a dangerous shot by Al Tevelien in the 25th minute. Lambina's Bo Riley got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Laurence Yard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Al Tevelien struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Barnes Claringbold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HITIT FOOTBALL CLUB. After 41 minutes of play, Lambina's Bo Riley made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joseph Plummer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barnes Claringbold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fletcher Keato in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fletcher Keato made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in HITIT FOOTBALL CLUB's zone, Bo Riley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Plummer came out of the goal and Bo Riley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Matt Jackson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joseph Plummer. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 72nd minute of the match, Brown Limmer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joseph Plummer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 74th minute of the match Russ Byrnes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joseph Plummer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Bo Riley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jessop Wivell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Lambina's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
