Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Eliot Rhoades started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Howard Baptiste in the 8th minute of play forced Wellard's goalkeeper Bran Spurr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cain Shipman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Daniel Kinnaird when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marshall Greenan hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Ed Oshea kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Fletcher Hart, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 13 minutes, Marshall Greenan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Keysie Knights and the Wellard players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute Stewart Curtis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Kinnaird saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Stewart Curtis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliot Rhoades received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Bran Spurr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cain Shipman took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Kinnaird. Daniel Kinnaird dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 29 minutes into the game, Eliot Rhoades cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Bran Spurr was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 33 minutes into the game, Fleming Mapps was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wellard's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Keysie Knights the free kick. Fleming Mapps kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Wellard's goal looked a bit too open when Howard Baptiste came free, but Bran Spurr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stewart Curtis to strike the kick off in the second half. If Stewart Curtis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cain Shipman struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Daniel Kinnaird didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wellard. In the 60th minute, Jemmett Quinnell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute Stewart Curtis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Kinnaird saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cain Shipman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Kinnaird having to interfere. After 69 minutes of play Keysie Knights's Marshall Greenan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Stewart Curtis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Kinnaird having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Cain Shipman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wellard's supporters rose to their feet, but Cain Shipman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Kinnaird breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wellard's Stewart Curtis got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wellard's Fleming Mapps got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Fleming Mapps off the ground. A collision led to Wellard getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Fleming Mapps hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Ed Oshea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Kinnaird stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cain Shipman's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Cain Shipman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Kinnaird having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Bryanne Czaczka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Daniel Kinnaird was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cain Shipman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Kinnaird having to interfere.
