Spectators: 7996 (Terracing: 5998, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 159) Earle Todman made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Cancun's goal looked a bit too open when Cullen Missen came free, but Max Unicomb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnold Millgate kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Dacosta Galvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes Cancun got a freekick which was hit by Bent Paull. After 25 played minutes Cancun got a freekick which was hit by Bent Paull. After having played for 27 minutes, Cullen Missen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Homewood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cullen Missen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Case Kidman during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Case Kidman kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Cullen Missen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cullen Missen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Max Unicomb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jamie Warren during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute, Jamie Warren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dacosta Galvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Conlin having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Cullen Missen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Homewood's supporters rose to their feet, but Cullen Missen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Unicomb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jamie Warren made a kick off. After 52nd play minutes Jamie Warren shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Max Unicomb and just under the crossbar into goal. Arnold Millgate recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dacosta Galvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cancun's Earle Todman got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gregory Conlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Earle Todman in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Cullen Missen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Max Unicomb managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Homewood's Cullen Missen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 77 minutes, Arnold Millgate mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cancun and the Homewood players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Homewood booed when Cancun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnold Millgate didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Jamie Warren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jamie Warren struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Max Unicomb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Homewood. When Homewood's Jamie Warren in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cancun's goalie prevented a goal. Cullen Missen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Homewood's zone, Dacosta Galvin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregory Conlin came out of the goal and Dacosta Galvin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute, Dacosta Galvin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gregory Conlin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Cancun were victorious despite being under pressure from Homewood for much of the match.
