Spectators: 8010 (Terracing: 6009, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alberto Peplow started the match with the kick off. Lowrey Stageman hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Phenix Rhoades got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Alberto Peplow got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brombin's Alberto Peplow got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kirby Cawthorne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamie Warren in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Homewood's goalkeeper Gregory Conlin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 24 played minutes Homewood got a freekick which was hit by Myles Alwege. Kirby Cawthorne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamie Warren in the 27th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clifford Pound during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clifford Pound kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Gregory Conlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Peplow in the 35th minute of play. When Carman Walsh came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Brombin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carman Walsh couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jamie Warren made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Peplow in the 54th minute of play forced Homewood's goalkeeper Gregory Conlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Brombin's goal looked a bit too open when Jamie Warren came free, but Kirby Cawthorne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kirby Cawthorne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cullen Missen, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Brombin's Kirby Cawthorne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cullen Missen in the 70th minute of play. After 71 minutes, Nichol Hollingworth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brombin and the Homewood players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nichol Hollingworth hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Kirby Cawthorne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cullen Missen in the 74th minute of play. Carman Walsh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kirby Cawthorne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamie Warren in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Lowrey Stageman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Homewood's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brombin the free kick. In the 86th match minute, Homewood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lowrey Stageman to maneuver through the defense. Cullen Missen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirby Cawthorne having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Brombin players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Homewood.
