Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eliot Rhoades made the kick off which started today's match. Howard Baptiste scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Max Unicomb, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ed Oshea charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ed Oshea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, Keysie Knights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ed Oshea to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Earle Todman in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Kinnaird saved Keysie Knights from getting behind. In the 17th minute of the match Bent Paull sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Kinnaird skillfully saved the ball. Earle Todman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Kinnaird having to interfere. Dacosta Galvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Kinnaird took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacosta Galvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Dacosta Galvin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Eliot Rhoades's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Max Unicomb was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Earle Todman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Kinnaird showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Earle Todman, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Howard Baptiste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Max Unicomb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Earle Todman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Max Unicomb came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Keysie Knights's Howard Baptiste. But to his dismay, Howard Baptiste quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marshall Greenan during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cancun booed when Keysie Knights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marshall Greenan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dacosta Galvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Earle Todman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Ed Oshea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Unicomb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dacosta Galvin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Daniel Kinnaird tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Earle Todman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eliot Rhoades had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jemmett Quinnell kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The long shot by Bent Paull in the 96th minute really tested Daniel Kinnaird's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Keysie Knights's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
