Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Wellard booed when Lambina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrews Paddle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th match minute, Lambina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Russ Byrnes to maneuver through the defense. Wellard's Fletcher Hart couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lambina. Barnes Claringbold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justin Mills in the 7th minute of play. Bran Spurr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Riley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matt Jackson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barnes Claringbold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justin Mills in the 14th minute of play. Bo Riley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 18 minutes, Brown Limmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lambina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brown Limmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute Jesse Wadley suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Riley in the 23rd minute of play forced Wellard's goalkeeper Bran Spurr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bran Spurr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Riley in the 25th minute of play. Matt Jackson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barnes Claringbold made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Stewart Curtis sent off a good shot on target. Fleming Mapps fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnes Claringbold having to interfere. If Stewart Curtis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stewart Curtis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Barnes Claringbold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Wellard's Stewart Curtis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Barnes Claringbold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Stewart Curtis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Bran Spurr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brown Limmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Randell Prince kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Stewart Curtis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Barnes Claringbold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barnes Claringbold stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bryanne Czaczka's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Lambina's Bo Riley got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wellard's Bran Spurr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brown Limmer in the 61st minute of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Bryanne Czaczka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lambina's Barnes Claringbold was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Bo Riley could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Bran Spurr however easily saved by the left post. If Elliott Frew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bo Riley kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Bo Riley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bran Spurr having to make a save. Stewart Curtis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnes Claringbold having to interfere. Lambina's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
