Jamie Warren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Plummer having to interfere. In the 6th minute Jamie Warren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Plummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cullen Missen struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Joseph Plummer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Homewood. When Fletcher Keato came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the HITIT FOOTBALL CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fletcher Keato couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute, Lowrey Stageman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Al Tevelien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gregory Conlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Homewood's Gregory Conlin got control of the ball when Al Tevelien tried to sneak it across the goal line. Al Tevelien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Conlin having to interfere. Al Tevelien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 27th minute, Jamie Warren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joseph Plummer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 30 minutes, Al Tevelien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HITIT FOOTBALL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Al Tevelien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Fletcher Keato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregory Conlin was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. If Cullen Missen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph Plummer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cullen Missen, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Al Tevelien blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregory Conlin having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After having played for 56 minutes, Cullen Missen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Homewood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cullen Missen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, HITIT FOOTBALL CLUB's goalkeeper Joseph Plummer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cullen Missen. Cullen Missen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Plummer having to interfere. If Cullen Missen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph Plummer was a little too slow when Jamie Warren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-3. Gregory Conlin came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by HITIT FOOTBALL CLUB's Al Tevelien. But to his dismay, Al Tevelien quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Jamie Warren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Plummer having to interfere. Joseph Plummer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamie Warren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Homewood's goal looked a bit too open when Al Tevelien came free, but Gregory Conlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to HITIT FOOTBALL CLUB getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rex Beaverley hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, HITIT FOOTBALL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Jamie Warren came free, but Joseph Plummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, HITIT FOOTBALL CLUB's Edward Mcvey got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When Rex Beaverley fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HITIT FOOTBALL CLUB's protests and gave Rex Beaverley a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, HITIT FOOTBALL CLUB's Rex Beaverley got a free kick in the 95th minute. After 97 played minutes HITIT FOOTBALL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Angus Blattman. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Homewood walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
