Spectators: 8003 (Terracing: 6004, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) Dribblers FC's Loud Alcock started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bryan Death showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarrett Jeffress, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Kane Erwin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Dribblers FC defense, Jarrett Jeffress kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bryan Death. The Dribblers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bryan Death should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, New Gen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Loud Alcock came free, but Paco Giddey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 11 minutes on the clock, Eavan Rutledge commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of New Gen FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dribblers FC:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Kane Erwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dribblers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kane Erwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paco Giddey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Loud Alcock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Paco Giddey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blake Nobes took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bryan Death. Bryan Death dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 34 minutes, Everett Staworowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dribblers FC and the New Gen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dribblers FC's Everett Staworowski got a free kick in the 35th minute. Boyde Ashby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bryan Death tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Blake Nobes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Gen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. New Gen FC's Benny Buckland got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half New Gen FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boyde Ashby to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, New Gen FC's Blake Nobes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bryan Death narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 53 minutes into the game, New Gen FC's Herbert Starling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bryan Death made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Bryan Death was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Blake Nobes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Blake Nobes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Paco Giddey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kane Erwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Boyde Ashby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Dribblers FC's goalkeeper Bryan Death had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blake Nobes. The supporters of New Gen FC booed when Dribblers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kane Erwin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Blake Nobes managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Gen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Blake Nobes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bryan Death breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the match, Dribblers FC's goalkeeper Bryan Death had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boyde Ashby. Blake Nobes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Bryan Death when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bryan Death made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blake Nobes in the 83rd minute. Bryan Death made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benny Buckland in the 86th minute. New Gen FC played a much better game than Dribblers FC and deserved their victory. The Dribblers FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
